‘Neige de Coton’ Movie w/ Ecole Publique Pierre Scize

Books International with the Ecole Publique Pierre Scize, an elementary school located in Saint-Just-Chaleyssin, France, came together to create new content based on the book that we published. The objective was to encourage a cultural exchange between the French students and the children in Africa, by learning and creating a project that could enable children to see a wider view of the world. Using Neige de Coton as a base reference, students drew and copied the picture books themselves, narrated the video, and sang and recorded the background song.

Neige de Coton was carefully selected by head Florence Bayon of Ecole Publique Pierre Scize, aand the video content was directed by Ryu In-soo, who has produced multiple videos (supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT's Korea Communications Development Fund) and delivered books and videos (co-operation between the Milal Welfare Foundation and the Gyeonggi Institute of Disability Rightists) to local schools in Uganda in 2018. She is a competent PD who won the grand prize in the comprehensive composition culture category for directing KTV's "100 Years of History of Sorokdo National Hospital" by the Korea Independent PD Association. Books International works more broadly with French students and teachers to produce better educational materials to promote autonomous projects by providing a venue for multilateral cultural exchanges so that children from various countries can become global citizens.
