Lotte Signiel Hotel | 2018 Valrhona INSPIRATION Chocolate Launching Party
In 2018, Valrhona introduced its newest line of Nut and Fruit Couvertures: Inspiration,
with three flavors, Almond, Strawberry and Passionfruit.
They hosted their launching party at the Lotte Signiel Hotel in Seoul, and commissioned a painting for each showroom designated for each new flavor.
(Now flavors Yuzu and Raspberry are also available)
Almond | INSPIRATION
Almond Inspiration features the creamy texture of chocolate with the sweet intensity of pure natural almond. Ground almonds are mixed with cocoa butter, sugar, and lecithin to create a completely unique product with all the freshness of almonds in the form of a chocolate.
Strawberry | INSPIRATION
Strawberry Inspiration offers a bright and colorful couverture with the intense taste of strawberries and a no dairy, artificial flavor.
Passionfruit | INSPIRATION
Passionfruit Inspiration opens up a whole new create world and delectable possibilities for artisans and chefs that allow them to play with fruit intensity and flavors that weren’t possible before. Valrhona experts were able to innovatively replace cocoa mass with powdered Passion Fruit juice.

It was a great honor of collaborating with Valrhona Chocolate to create art pieces for the event, reflecting the three representative flavors of Inspiration Chocolate (Strawberry, Almond, and Passionfruit).
It was incredibly inspiring in itself to be surrounded by patissieres and chefs so passionate about their craft. Everything was delicious.
